Canon PowerShot SD30 / IXUS i Zoom Digital Camera

I bought it 2 months ago.I was fascinated by its design and the variety of different ways in taking pictures,which are provided.You have the opportunity to keep a color,like red or green and make everything else black and white,thus you can shoot marvelous photographs.But there was a problem with my model from the time i bought it,which is worse now.Even though its battery was charged I couldn't turn my camera on.I had to take its battery out and then put it back in,in order to turn the camera on.But now even this doesn't work and I have to try a lot of times so as to achieve turn it on.There must be a problem with its bolt because this happens only when I want to take a picture and there is no problem when I want to see my images.I was told that the warranty covers only permanent problems and I should wait until my camera's condition becomes even worse(!!!).But I believe that they will repair it in time...Although this misfortune has happened to me(the fact that I've bought a defective model),I think it is a really good camera for someone who doesn't have great expectations.
