I needed a laptop to take with me as I started my MBA program. I wanted something high quality and compact with a very good screen. Only Dell and IBM offer screen options with better than normal resolution - and it is well worth the exta expense. (Trust me on this!)
I got the Core Duo processor and the high-res screen and it is everything I need and more. It connects easily to wireless networks. It is compact enough to be easily transported to school.
My advice to potential buyers: When you choose your Dell, pay the $100 for the SXGA+ screen. It is a higher resolution screen that is MUCH better than the normal screen. It is an investment you will be glad you made. I have owned several laptops with this kind of screen and it is the BEST.
