Low price printer produces quality photo prints - scanner, copier a plus

Good value, but lots of compromises
I recently bought this for my sister in college to save space in her dorm room (versus having a separate printer and scanner). So with that in mind, let me talk about the physical size.

Happily Printing with my Epson
I am really happy with the printer and it's capabilities.
Here are the reasons why:
1. It was $60 after the Epson rebate and came with all the ink in the box (nice surprise). Oh, it has seperate ink cartridges, too.

Ink Sucked Me Dry

Ink eater
I have had this printer for 3 months and I have to buy the third black-ink cartridge. I have printed less than 500 sheets, mostly text and slides.
There is no way to use the draft mode to save ink, because the quality is too low in this mode.

Great Inexpensive all in one
I recently bought this at Wal-Mart on sale for less than $60 USD. I have to say I am utterly impressed. I went from a Lexmark inkjet to the Epson CX3610 with this in mind "it can't be worse". Extremely Disappointed
