Epson Stylus C80 - Near Perfection
For those of you out there that have been reading my reviews here at Epinions know that I am very partial to Epson Inkjet printers. I very rarely find much negative to say about them and rarely recommend another brand over Epson. This review is on another Epson printer that I found a couple weeks... Read full review »
I love my Epson Stylus C80!
I finally got my new printer! My husband brought home the Epson Stylus C80, he has this one at work and loves it, so this is the one he wanted to get for our home. He says he bought it for me, but sometimes I wonder since he seems to find a lot of things he needs to print lately, but I've gotten a... Read full review »
Good, Reliable, Solid, Quiet, Fun Printer
Boy was I pleasantly surprised with this printer. My other Epson experiences (the 777 and the Photo 780) were not so good. However, Epson was thinking clearly when they produced this printer.
First of all, this printer is QUIET! (unlike the 777 and Photo 780) It has very solid...

Best Birthday Gift in Many Years!
The Epson C-80 inkjet printer in this review was a gift from my brother. Saying this means little, unless you know that he is still using a dot matrix printer made in 1992! I am sure that he would have rather bought this printer for himself, but being an older brother, he did the right thing and... Read full review »
Finally No Smudges, And No Streaks!!!
C80 is the new improved version of the color ink jet printer. Allot of ink jet printers on the market have two problems: they produce prints that have smears and smudges. They also have cartridges which are very expensive to replace. The C80 has an answer to these problems. It has a new waterproof... Read full review »

Installation. Confession time- I tried to install this printer myself. I was able physically set it up and...

The good, the excellent and the ugly
I've waited a few months to write this review. Not because I had any doubt about what I wanted to say, but because my last Epson inkjet was totally wonderful until it glued it's own printheads tightly shut and refused to print any more. I've been waiting to see in the C80 would do the same. It... Read full review »
A great printer for the frequent printer
My first printer was an HP-560C. I have since gone through another HP722C printer, and have now come to try an Epson printer.
My first impression of the Epson C80 was:
Eh..
I saw it at CompUSA, and it looked awfully big for a printer, because of the top loading paper tray...

PC Magazine Editor's Choice?
The Epson Stylus C80 was named PC Magazine's Editor's Choice for midrange inkjets, which (along with price) was one of the primary reasons I chose it to replace my ancient HP Deskjet 540. After using it for about a month, I've found that while it's a great printer for the money I don't know if it's... Read full review »
Read this if you have a C80 and XP issues!
Update April '03:
----------------
Have been using the printer with no problems since I got the XP issues resolved (as below).
- It does seem to go through ink fast (compared to my old HP).
- Ink is somewhat pricey - $20Cdn each for the colours, $50 for the black (which holds...
