Decent, cheap little keyboard
Pros
Cheap, adequate performance, easy installation
Cons
Worthless wrist-rest, fragile feet, a bit noisy
Recommended it?
Yes
I bought this device as a supplementary keyboard for my notebook, and have been using it for several months now. By and large, it has performed adequately. I have had some difficulty with dropped keystrokes when connecting through a universal USB docking port, but that's probably the fault of the the cheap docking port, and not due to anything inherently sub-par in the keyboard itself. A few caveats: the keys are somewhat noisy in a clackety sort of way. I happen to like that, but I know some folks prefer otherwise. Tactilely, the springiness of the keys is quite satisfactory. I discarded the wrist-rest in favor of a gel-filled one. The little feet that prop up the back of the keyboard broke off rather easily in a recent move, but I find I like the new typing position better anyway. I don't use the hot-buttons, so I can't say whether they perform well or not.
