I purchased this 19" widescreen LCD monitor when my 17" LCD started giving me problems. I purchased it at circuitcity.com and picked it up in a store. The monitor comes with speakers built in, all the necessary cables (dvi & analog, power, audio) and a cd that has a manual on it. It is very easy to setup and use. There are the typical buttons on the front for power, adjusting the settings (constrast, brightness, etc...). It's recommend resolution is 1440x900, which at first I had difficulty with, but now I am fine with it, it just took some getting used to. It does not distort any programs. I also have a TV tuner and the picture when recording/viewing tv is excellent.
I am not using the built in speakers, as I have a 5.1 set of speakers, so I cannot comment on the sound quality.
I was not going to purchase this monitor because I had never heard of Hanns G, but I am not disappointed at all with it. I was using an analog monitor but am now using the DVI with my video card.
