Hannspree JW-199DPB 19 inch LCD Monitor

very sharp looking, easy to use, good price but after 12 months of daily use, the monitor has developed faint white lines running horizontally across the top of the screen..even though it has a 3 year warranty it has to be shipped to California at my cost(and quite $) and will have a good long delay in getting it back..I have never shipped a monitor and i'm not sure what shape it will be in after transit..the repair people at Hannspree were nice but INFLEXIBLE and did not offer alternatives in getting this problem resolved and making it easier for the consumer..i will never buy a product from this company again..i will stick with a well known company who has closer repair facilities..it's not worth the hassle or expense to comply with this companies policies..i guess i'm stuck with a defective monitor!
