A Cheapster's Review of the Ooma Telo
Since I got AT&T U-Verse, I "cut the cord" on my land line. I relied on my cell phone for all phone communications, and signed up for an online faxing service. This has been working okay, and I loved not having to pay monthly phone bills. But I still missed having a land line. So I decided to sign... Read full review »
Time To Ditch AT&T
I have been flirting with the idea of getting Voice-Over IP (VOIP) for the longest time, but I have hesitated not sure what to do if the power went out and left us without a phone. Failed after 2 years
This review is more of a comment on the Ooma Telo hardware, rather than the service itself. I read the other reviews and they have covered the service and the experience very well. My experience doesn't differ much, except maybe in the way I've been using it.
I bought the Ooma Telo in...

Fabulous deal for those who hate recurring phone bills
Had dropped my landline, using Skype and smartphone for all my phone calls but wanted an inexpensive backup. This meets all my requirements, voice quality is very good (better than mobile), setup was amazingly easy and it has voicemail as a basic feature. Also doesn't need to be... Read full review »
