Digital Blue QX5 Without Eyepiece Microscope

The QX5 is a minimal upgrade over the QX-3. The main upgrade I believe is the slightly improved resolution.I decided to give this a try because of the reviews and read somewhere that a couple of people used this out in the field with laptops. I purchased this for myself to observe fruit flies for my biology class. I can honestly say that this microscope does just as good as the stereo microscope at my college. The ability to take pictures and record movies is amazing. It can even do time lapse video. Its pretty much plug and play. People that say they have a hard time seeing things, here's a basic microscope tip.. Always start off on the lowest power setting(10)focus object, then progress to the next one(60)again focus object now go up to (200). Sometimes things are better viewed in 60x. The true test was when my kids seen it. They love it too. This is a must BUY for anyone interested in science or hobbies that aids from magnification.
