Relatively simple improvements to the Palm VII have spawned the Palm VIIx and made it a more viable option. Increasing the memory from 2MB to 8MB gives much greater flexibility to customize this to your needs and wants.

Pros Great for appointments and contacts, provides remote access to web and email.
Cons Rather bulky, not always in range, hard to read, batteries die a lot.

The first Palm I owned used to drive me crazy because I had trouble reading information on the low-contrast screen.
