Samsung SyncMaster 730B 17 inch LCD Monitor

This is my first LCD screen, and I've been using a dual monitor setup for over four years now. I've always had one 17" and one 19" monitor until my 19" went out on me. I was forced to purchase an LCD screen due to the lack of offerings at most local stores for CRT's. Needless to say, I still have my 17" and I THOUGHT it was working wonderfully until I put my new LCD next to it. the 730B is TRULY one of the brightest monitors you'll ever see. Whether that's a plus or minus in your book is up to you. The one thing I have to say is a MAJOR draw back is the black text is not very clear. If the text is even SLIGHTLY bold, it actually bleeds together making it almost illegible. With the exception of that, the software included with the monitor is outstanding to calibrated your monitor's color with your printer, and even your other monitor for that matter! Though the brightness of my other monitor is still an issue, it's working JUST fine! If you purchase it at your local Circuit City, there's also a series of refunds available for it, all due before the end of May, 2006, totaling $100. Well worth the cost.
