Spiffy-Looking, Quiet and Cool
My wife is a major Photoshop junkie and I've recently gotten interested in making HD videos, and both of these demand lots of storage space. To give us some digital elbow room, we recently got a Seagate FreeAgent Desk ST31500FDA 1.5 TB external USB hard drive. After using it for about three months,... Read full review »
More back-up memory is better!
Unlike the human mind, computer memory is pretty much unlimited in its capacity. A large external back-up drive makes it possible to store everything, safely, ‘outside the box' ... Just in case. The Seagate Free Agent is a very good option.

BEWARE! Seagate Warranty isn't what it seems!
I bought a Seagate 1.5 Terabyte USB drive in January, 2010 from Wal-Mart. One factor in choosing this drive was the 5 year warranty. This drive failed (clicking, not recognized, crashed everything) in 17 days. Wal-Mart only accepts electronics returns for 15 days, so I e-mailed Seagate. They... Read full review »

Bought mine at Costco recently. I was impressed with the price and I have had good luck with Seagate in the past. I'm really glad Costco has a good return policy because this will be back in their hands ASAP. The problems with this drive started the first day I had it in... Read full review »
