Pros Sharply detailed graphics, fluid controls, bonus content, high production values
Cons Game length is a little on the short side

God of War: Chains of Olympus has done the same thing that the SOCOM and the GTA series have done by releasing a new console-styled game designed for the PSP.   However unlike those games, God of War works perfectly on the PSP control scheme. There are no akward moments like there are when playing... Read full review »

Introduction
I found the God of War series was interesting and exciting if not so perfectly accurate portrayal of a Spartan named Kratos. I find the action sequences a lot of fun.

Story
You start as the same hero from the two PS2 installments and you leap into a battle with a... Read full review »

I've been a life long gamer who started out back in the 1990's with PC games, and have now, obviously, moved on into some console game play thanks to my wonderful wife who gave me a PSP for my birthday.

I started out with a few other good games like Tome Raider, Indiana Jones, and Untold... Read full review »

Before God of War: Chains of Olympus, I had already worked my way through the first GoW game. This was one of my first games for PsP and was highly enjoyable to me.  The gameplay has four main aspects: fighting, boss fighting, puzzle, and minigames. These four things together all make GoW: C of O... Read full review »

Pros Visuals
Cons Game Play

This is listed on many sites as being the top game for the Sony PSP! Granted, the game has beautiful graphics that shine in very well done movie-like scenes. The mythological setting is also stunningly portrayed. That's it.

The actual game play is ridiculous! Your character runs around in... Read full review »

Pros There's so many pros to this game it's hard to find a con.
Cons The evading ability was a bit more difficult on this than earlier versions.

When I heard that God of War was coming to the PSP, I knew that I had to get my hands on a copy. Problem was, at the time, it wasn't out for another eight months. Needless to say it was well worth that wait.

The game play is very much like it's larger PS2 brethren, with the exception of a... Read full review »
