Not for the long haul
I used an Epson Stylus Color 800 from the mid 90's to the early 2000's. That printer was a work horse! I couldn't praise it more. When it finally gave out, I replaced it with an Epson Stylus C-84, which seemed to work great right off the bat.

If I could only reach thru the phone to strangle an EPSON techrep!

3 Words - DO NOT BUY
Total piece of crap. If you do any printing of pictures or things like that, get ready to get out the checkbook to buy EXPENSIVE ink. Lots of it. Considerable ink hog. Don't waste your time, get something else.
I bought this printer a year and a half ago when the printer that came with my computer died. I bought this printer for my small business, but very little use. I printed maybe 10-50 sheets a month, mostly invoices.
