Cons Could have more on proper form, but really this book is about anatomy, not form.

"Strength Training Anatomy" by Frederic Delavier is a book you MUST own if you are interested in learning more about weight lifting, and which exercises impact which muscles most.

Pros Very detailed, easy to understand, very thorough

This book provides detailed pictures of what muscles you are focusing on during all types lifts. So, if you want to target certain muscle groups or even individual muscle heads (ie: the "long head" of your tricep), it shows you what lifts target that.

This is a nice book to have. If you are trying to build your body in a certain way, this amazing book is for you. Written by someone who has the experience, a lot of proven methods were mentioned in the book with step by step directions and a lot of great illustrations. Read full review »
