Them Be Some Nice Guns!
Way back in 1996 (oh my God, I was still in high school!), a little game came out and took the PlayStation by storm. That game was Tomb Raider. While the last couple of Tomb Raider games have completely destroyed the mystique of the series, the original is good enough to make up for it.

Still has the chops after a decade.

I bought Tomb Raider for my husband several years ago when it first was released, within a few days he was addicted! He loves Lara Croft of course, but also likes the strategy involved. He has spent hours on end playing this game, monopolizing the Playstation!

Don't be lookin' for graphics
This is not the best game, but is OK. Just don't buy it for its graphics. They're the worst graphics I've ever seen. The corners of everything are blocky, and the enemies are basically 3 colored blocks put together. The controls take a long time to get used to, not being able to use analog sticks...
