The Definitive Technology SuperCube 4000 brings theater-like bass performance to an enclosure the size of a breadbasket. A compact 11 x 11-7/8 x 12-1/2-inches unit houses the 1,200-watts of 2-way subwoofer power. An 8-inch active driver combines with two 8-inch passive radiators to give the Definitive Technology SuperCube 4000 more piston area and musical responsiveness than a larger enclosure housing a single 12-inch speaker. The Definitive Technology SuperCube 4000's speaker configuration, powerful amplifier and rugged construction are combined to give this Definitive Technology subwoofer a frequency response range of 16 Hz to 200 Hz. Listeners can also use the wireless remote and digital readout to program the 2-way subwoofer to set parameters like equalization, phase control and crossover frequencies to values appropriate for the sound system, the room and environment from wherever they are located.
