Pros Records FM radio
Cons Battery Hog, Flimsy plastic clasp for battery door, doesn't take advantage of USB...
Recommended it? Yes

I love this player in that it records FM radio. I don't get my favorite morning radio show at my desk in work, so I set this baby on record and at lunchtime I grab it from my car and listen to it for the rest of the day.

This is great for a dedicated fan like myself, but there are 2 huge... Read full review »

bought this MP3 Player after I bought the Creative Labs MP3 player. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the model but I had it for one day and hated it. I liked this MP3 player so much that I bought my friend one as well.

The features I liked were.

Pros Small & Lightweight, Strong Battery Life, Featureful
Cons Puny backlight, Confusing Button Operations, No data storage capability
Recommended it? Yes

I have been lurking around the mp3 player scene on and off for a while and I decided to hold off until they progressed a little. As I was deciding on my new gadget for the new year, I started looking at the mp3 players again. There are many to choose from so it can be a hard decision. Luckily one... Read full review »

If FM is important to you, get this player!

Pros Tiny size, FM that WORKS, Quality earbuds, Good Battery life
Cons Included Software stinks & isn't compatible with MusicMatch or Windows Media Player.
Recommended it? Yes

I've had a few mp3 players, including the Intel, the Nomad II, the Lyra 2, and the Sonicblue s50. Of them all, only the lyra 2 had an FM stereo that worked well. The Iriver works as well, but is MUCH smaller, lighter, and gets as much life out of only 1 AA battery as the Lyra 2 gets from 2 AA's... Read full review »

Pros Good form factor. Never failed to work.
Cons LCD although legible is small and hard to read for me.
Recommended it? Yes

Wow. What a great player. I bought the 180T days before I took a trip the the West Indies. The included software installed without a hitch on Win 2000 and XP. The software is functional but it could be integrated better into the OS. Also, it will not allow you to upload mp3's back to the computer... Read full review »

Pros It's small and sleek - okay for listening to music.
Cons If you want to record vocal audio for the web - stay away from this.
Recommended it? No

I purchased the IRiver for a work project, which involved recording the vocal part of an online presentation.

And that's where my troubles began.

For one thing, I consider myself to be technologically savvy - but I had to actually read the manual to figure out how to work this... Read full review »

Pros Small, Lightweight, Good Sound, Good FM Reception, Cheap
Cons Small non-expandable memory. Feels a little cheap, time will tell.
Recommended it? Yes

I'd been wanting an MP3/WMA player for quite a while. When I saw the price for this little guy drop to $39 on ecost.com, I could not resist. I needed something with a radio for watching the TVs at the gym and the 180T did not let me down. I've read reviews of other MP3 players with built in tuners... Read full review »

Great player, but steep learning curve

Pros Great sound, small, good battery life, comes with necklace for exercise.
Cons The software. Can't upload songs to computer.
Recommended it? Yes

My Sony MS Walkman, NW-MS7 gave up the ghost. The non-removeable, rechargeable battery refused to hold a charge anymore. I loved the Sony's small size, look, and ability to wear while exercising. I did not love the fact that I had to constantly recharge the Sony which never played for much more... Read full review »

Pros Very small and easy to handel. Great battery life (20 hours) not so expensive
Cons radio isn't that good, most take out battery or it drains. comes with bad headphones
Recommended it? Yes

This mp3 player is great for any one who doesn't want to spend to much money on one. It has a good amount of memory and it's easy to download music to it. But the mp3's radio isn't that good when in a car because it gets a bad reception. It also has the problem of draining the battery even if its... Read full review »
