Its hardware security includes tamper-evident tape, chassis intrusion detection, and tamper-proof hardware. Also the software security includes restricted USB connectivity. This KCM switch is National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) certified to comply with Common Criteria EAL2+ security requirements. Additionally, its firmware is non- reprogrammable, securing against attempts to alter the logic of the KVM. The keyboard buffer is automatically cleared after data transmission, leaving no information stored in the switch. By combining physical security with controlled USB connectivity, the B002-DUA4 gives you the means to consolidate multiple workstations of various security classification levels with one keyboard, monitor and mouse (KVM) console.
