I got the Asustek A7N8X-VM refurbished to replace an, also refurbished, Asustek A7N8X Deluxe. Either I have terrible luck with refurbished motherboards or my power supply, RAM or CPU are the culprit – but I couldn't get either motherboard to work stable.

This is a very good straight forward setup and go mother board for those who want lots of bells and whistles all at a low cost. It is flexible in that it is also backwards compatible with my older peripherals. I can use ata and sata hard drives in it.
