Four rival gangs compete for turf through a series of petty crimes, street races, and vicious urban gun fights. One of these gangs is the 3rd Street Saints. As the newest initiate to the Saints, it’s your job to earn respect and street credit by accomplishing missions and running rival gangs out of your territory. Saints Row features a robust character creation system and allows you to take the fight online in a collection of multiplayer modes. Saints Row is available exclusively for the Xbox 360. Less

Pros great graphics, familiar controls, can import music, decent story
Cons missions lack flair, not much is new, fringe music tracks, not much replay value
Recommended it? Yes

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is the one game that caused me to defect from PC gaming to console gaming. I bought my Playstation 2 back in December of 2002 and the rest is history. Given the success of the GTA franchise, many have looked to imitate the style in many different ways. And some games... Read full review »

Pros Max Payne + John Woo = awesome
Cons occasionally looks cheap, some framerate issues, only 6 hours long
Recommended it? Yes

John Woo Presents Stranglehold goes into the interesting genre of video-game movies that aren't straight adaptations and is actually a nifty piece of work. Even though it only took me a paltry six hours to run through the game and it offers little replay value- it's an entertaining game and worth... Read full review »

Pros Entertaining, jaw-dropping explosions.
Cons Short single player experience, multiplayer is a bust.
Recommended it? Yes

Now I'm not going to sit here and tell you that John Woo is a brilliant filmmaker. I think arguments can be made that he knows how to put together an entertaining action flick albeit it may be missing some serious IQ. Stranglehold came onto the scene recently for the Xbox 360 and immediately caught... Read full review »
