The Altec Lansing iM7 is $100 less than the popular (and overpriced) Bose docking station. While Bose has the reputation, it's impossible to find it discounted below the $299 list price. I paid $190 for the iM7 from buy.com, and it can be found at Costco for even less now ($180 last I checked)... Read full review »

Pros Very good portable audio system at a reasonable price ($115).  Glitch free!
Cons Black on black design.  Very small remote.  No written instructions.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this about 2 wks. ago for use with my 1st gen iTouch & my wife's 3rd gen Nano.  Both dock without a problem.  The system comes with iPod adapters which insure a secure connection.  The system is about 13" long, 6" high and 2 1/4" thick, with the handle folded down, so it...
