To point; if you have not experienced computing with a 30" monitor then your missing one of the essentials of life. Pros Great hi-res display, plenty of brightness even next to a large window.
Cons Only one DVI input, and dismal 1280x800 resolution over any single-link DVI connection.
Recommended it? No

This Dell 30-inch widescreen display used to be their flagship monitor.  By all standards it was huge, with a breathtaking 2560x1600 resolution that is actually better than human 20/20 vision.

Pros Good setup, crisp, sharp display.

Good monitor for the most part. Easy setup, good controls and menus, bright crisp display, BUT .....

Only lasted 6 years before giving out. I have had CRTs in the past that performed well for 10 years or more. Suspect defective capacitors per numerous Google searches with the failure... Read full review »
