Pros Wonderful graphics, story, constant updates and new features, just plain fun to play.
Cons Mediocre class balance, a few bugs remain after a year of retail... addictive!
Recommended it? Yes

I always had a hard time justifying the need to pay fifteen or twenty dollars every month to play a game online. It seemed more logical to me to just purchase a brand new game every month or two, that way I would have a lot more games for the same amount of money I would be spending on one online... Pros Beautiful graphics, great sound, War of the Ring mode great addition, AI is much smarter.
Cons Single player campaign mode very bland.

Pros THE RTS game for Lord of the Rings fans.
Cons Medieval Total War is better if you want to pull off complex battle strategy.

I am a big fan of the Lord of the Rings books and movies. While the movies leave out a lot that is in the books (they had to unless they wanted to make it a TV series instead of three movies), they capture the magic and themes well.
