Pros PCI-Express, 256MB texture memory
Cons Factory cooling, does not perform that much better than 9800 Pro unless overclocked.
Recommended it? Yes

Anyone who may have read my last article posted on this site knows that I recently had a bad experience with a power surge and had to replace several main components of my computer. Included among these were the mainboard, processor, memory, sound card, power supply and the graphics card.

When I build computers, I have two requirements; performance and silence. In the case of the Gigabyte GV-RX80XL256V I received both.

Pros Can't think of any. One doesn't buy a card like this for running Microsoft Word!
Cons To use an engineering term, this product is "not fit for purpose".
Recommended it? No

I was a fan, and frequent purchaser of Gigabyte products, until I bought this graphics card. Unfortunately, this product belongs squarely in the "what could they have been thinking?" department.
