Pros Easy to install, excellent picture quality, DUAL TUNERS!
Cons Don't use with a set-top cable tuner; you're wasting features.

Pros Record two TV shows at once, Two additional A/V headers.
Cons Does not come with a MCE Remote. 3rd party TV software in XP Home/Pro.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought the Hauppauge! 1081 WinTV-PVR 500 MCE White box to run with XP Pro. Digitally Unique gave me a good deal on this card. While it is designed to work with XP MCE 2005, it does work well in XP Pro. You do need to buy a 3rd party TV Software (I am using BeyondTV)for it to run in Pro. I bought... Read full review »

As with all Hauppauge products, the drivers and media applications lag the hardware by one to two years.  This card is no exception.  The drivers are flakey and the WinTV 6 Scheduler is barely usable.  Very inconsistent whether it will capture sound during a scheduled recording.  Drivers conflict...
