I have several criteria I require when buying a keyboard:

1. It doesn't have any power-off/sleep/suspend/etc. buttons. I don't like accidentally turning off my computer when I drop my keyboard and I don't want my cat to be able to turn my computer off at all.

Very straightforward, easy to use keyboard that can withstand a decent amount of abuse.  It's taken a few spills from nearby cups and held up well, but is inexpensive enough to replace if it gets too much liquid.  There aren't any bells and whistles, but if you don't need those, this is a... Pros Doesn't take up much space.
Cons Uncomfortable to use, leads to typos.

I've never actually disliked a keyboard before.  I previously had the Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard 6000 v.2, which retails for $89.99, but was on sale at Staples for $19.99.  I spilled water on it, and that was that.  So I understand that downgrading so much would lead to disappointment.  But...
