Do you save the world, or go hunt some deer?

Pros Graphics, Sound, game is looooooooong!
Cons Main story, few glitches here and there, might be to long for some.
Recommended it? Yes

Bathseda's Elder Scrolls series has always had a sort of love hate relationship with gamers in general. Some love the series for their massive open ended structure and absorbing narrative, while others end up hopelessly lost and pine for a game where saving the world is really of far more import... Finally, A Killer App For The 360?

byunderdawg Apr 9, 2006

Pros huge, fun, lush environments
Cons animations, crime ain't easy, other annoying things
Recommended it? Yes

Let me start off by saying that I hated Morrowind (Elder Scrolls 3). Not only was the story incredibly boring/nonexistent at first, but the combat was just miserable. Since it was dictated by D&D dice rolls, a newly created player would miss almost all of his attacks, even if he was just using his... Read full review »

Halo Reach: Not a Sinner, Not a Saint

bykjell1979 Dec 28, 2010
32 Helpfuls 33 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros decent balanced gameplay, even harder, matchmaking, story, lots of weapons
Cons not that much new, a few design issues, no weapon customization, short campaign
Recommended it? Yes

I picked up Halo Reach a couple months ago. I traded it for Red Dead Redemption on swap.com. I'm not a huge Halo fan. I played Halo 2 quite a bit, but I could never get much into Halo 3 and didn't bother with ODST. However there was a lot more buzz surrounding this Halo game more so than in recent... Addictive, Slick, and Downright Amazing: Halo Reach is a Wonderful Farewell.

29 Helpfuls 30 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros EVERYTHING: one of the best games around.
Cons None worth mentioning.
Recommended it? Yes

Side Note:
When I say "a wonderful farewell", I do not mean that this is the last ever Halo game. However, this is the last ever Halo game by Bungie, the brilliant little company that has been working on Halo for all these years. Microsoft will find a new branch to continue the Halo series,...
