Pros Based on reliable Windows XP. The best Media Center out there for PCs.
Cons The inheritant vulnerabilities of Windows XP. Will never be Blue Ray compatible.
Recommended it? Yes

We used Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 (MCE 2005) for our Media Center PC and are very happy with the ease of use and reliability, both lacking in a competitors (now discontinued) product. Pros Easy to Use, Simple Setup, Great Design

I got this when I bought my Acer laptop back in 2006.  My laptop was aquanted with 1GB of RAM and back then that was good.  After the shared video memory it is really 896mb.  Anyways, Media Center is a prety good OS.  There are some compatiblity issues with games with this OS.  With media Center,...
