The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword introduces full motion control enabled by the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which synchronizes player movements with Link's actions while offering intuitive play control. \nWith the Wii MotionPlus accessory, every movement of Link's sword matches the player's motion with exact precision. If players motion left to right, Link swings from left to right. The precision play control is applied to enemies as well, as players must contemplate strategy when battling opponents that actively try to defend against attacks. Less

Far Cry: Vengeance - A far cry from a good game

byKittyokc Sep 28, 2007
44 Helpfuls 45 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros It was only $20
Cons Controls and graphics
Recommended it? No

While at Gamestop, my husband picked up Far Cry: Vengeance for me to try. It was a price drop and only $20, so he figure what the heck, why not?

I'm mostly use to RPG's, this would be only the second FPS game that I've played, so I may not be as critical about things as some gamers might... Read full review »

Got a spare $20?

bywathomas May 11, 2007
19 Helpfuls 20 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Inexpensive, nice environments, varied vehicle modes and free form exploration
Cons Spotty and inconsistent controls, frame rate slow downs
Recommended it? Yes

Far Cry Vengeance for the Nintendo Wii, has been one of the most universally panned releases for this console outside of Rapella Pro Bass Fishing.

Skyward Sword Changes Everything

byflamepillar Jan 13, 2012
43 Helpfuls 44 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Puzzles are clever as ever, controls are downright fun, upgrading system
Cons Day/night doesn't work the same, "You got the thing" screen for stuff...
Recommended it? Yes

The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword has only been in release just over a month, but I feel that it very well may be one of my top three Zelda games now, if not top two. Only the black sheep Majora's Mask puts up any real competition for a spot in my daydreaming queue anymore.

It's not too... Read full review »

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword: More Like Skyward Bored

byMike_Bracken Jan 12, 2012
33 Helpfuls 34 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros A few inventive dungeons and cool tools.
Cons The controls, the constant enemy and area recycling.
Recommended it? Yes

It seems almost fitting that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will serve as arguably the last major first party release for the Nintendo Wii. After all, when the console launched back in 2006, Link and the titular princess were the first “must have” title on the new machine. Of... Read full review »
