How the DS Lite Came to Be...

When the orignal Nintendo DS launched in 2004 it was met with more than a little skepticism. This was mainly due to the unorthodox features of the little handheld; it featured two screens, one of them being a touch screen. The system turned out to be a... Read full review »

Nintendo DS Lite: Fanciful, not Forgettable

bykjell1979 Sep 29, 2006

Pros decent selection of games, low price, wifi multiplayer, no need for lots of accessories
Cons lack of multiplayer games, slow hardware, some genres not well represented

I swear. I did own an original Nintendo DS. Despite its innovation and the games that were on the way, I had to give it up. I had won it in a contest, but was out of work at the time. I'm going to start this review by saying, if your trying to decide whether to get a Xbox or a PS3, please, please pick the Xbox. Yeah, you have to pay a few bucks a month to play online, but in my personal experience, it beats the PS3 in every aspect. (And I've logged a good amount of time on both... Read full review »

Pros Excellent OS, no lag, DVD player, major titles, and expandable memory.
Cons No Blu-ray player, playing online costs money, can be loud.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought the Microsoft Xbox 360 in December 2010 after a long time of debating a 360 vs. a Sony PlayStation 3. I am not disappointed. It had a great operating system in 2010/2011, and now Microsoft updated it and it is even better. It has more major titles than the PS3 (Halo, Gears of War, Alan... Read full review »
