The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword introduces full motion control enabled by the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which synchronizes player movements with Link's actions while offering intuitive play control. \nWith the Wii MotionPlus accessory, every movement of Link's sword matches the player's motion with exact precision. If players motion left to right, Link swings from left to right. Van Guards May Be Necessary for the Riots That Will Occur After People Play Vanguard

Pros Some intense battles. The game has great sound.
Cons Poor graphics, aiming, and physics engine. Too straightforward.
Recommended it? No

World War II shooters were a blast when they first came out, but several years later, when pretty much every one that comes out is the same thing, it's nearly impossible to get excited about a new one coming out. Now mix the repetitive nature of World War II games with four words that have gained... Read full review »

I am a first person shooter nut now that I am addicted to Halo. I have been trying to find something that is close to the game, but for the Wii. Pros Puzzles are clever as ever, controls are downright fun, upgrading system
Cons Day/night doesn't work the same, "You got the thing" screen for stuff...
Recommended it? Yes

The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword has only been in release just over a month, but I feel that it very well may be one of my top three Zelda games now, if not top two. Only the black sheep Majora's Mask puts up any real competition for a spot in my daydreaming queue anymore.

It's not too... Read full review »

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword: More Like Skyward Bored

byMike_Bracken Jan 12, 2012
33 Helpfuls 34 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros A few inventive dungeons and cool tools.
Cons The controls, the constant enemy and area recycling.
Recommended it? Yes

It seems almost fitting that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will serve as arguably the last major first party release for the Nintendo Wii. After all, when the console launched back in 2006, Link and the titular princess were the first “must have” title on the new machine. Of... Read full review »
